Dr. Kunal Domakonda, MD, FACC
Dr. Domakonda is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in the treatment and management of heart and vascular disease. He is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology and holds prestigious board certifications in the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, as well as the American Society of Echocardiography. He is trained to read vascular studies and has extensive experience in managing complex cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disorders. He enjoys coaching patients on weight loss and strategies to minimize or prevent heart disease, espousing the idea of, ‘an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure’. He thrives on teaching his patients about their heart as well as strategies to live a healthy and complete life. His aim is to create a supportive and nurturing environment for his patients to reach their goals.
A New York City native, Dr. Domakonda was raised in Queens and is fluent in multiple languages. He has varied and evolving interests and enjoys staying active with tennis, the outdoors, and travel.
